The Bryce Plumbing & Heating Company is a South Carolina corporation with its principal place of business at Florence, S. C. It obtained from the United States Government a contract to do certain work to be performed in the erection of a government hospital at Batavia, N. Y. By the terms of its contract, and the United States statute, it was required to execute a bond in favor of the government to secure the performance of the contract.
