OPINION
BULLOCK, Justice.
A jury found appellant guilty of aggravated robbery and assessed punishment at thirty years confinement and a $10,000.00 fine.
We reverse and remand.
In July, 1981, the Houston Police Department received information from Illinois law enforcement authorities that an informant wished to confess his participation in recent jewelry store robberies in Houston and to assist the police in apprehending the other participants.
