The objections made to the judgment in this cause, based upon the rulings on the evidence, we have carefully examined, all the more carefully because the damages hereinafter discussed, seem to us very large, and the question is of great importance, therefore, whether any thing ivas improperly admitted in evidence tending to mislead the jury and swell the amount allowed. But we do not find in the rulings any error.
