The Charges

PALMIERI, District Judge.

The defendants stand indicted for conspiracy to violate the federal securities laws (15 U.S.C. §§ 78j(b), 78m and 78ff(a)) and regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission (S.E.C.) promulgated thereunder (17 C.F.R. §§ 240.10b-5 and 240.13a-l), to commit perjury (18 U.S.C. § 1621), to suborn perjury (18 U.S.C. § 1622), and to obstruct justice (18 U.S.C. § 1505). 18 U.S.C. § 371.
