MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

RICHARD J. HOLWELL, District Judge.

Pro se plaintiff Vincent Warren (“Plaintiff’) brings the instant action under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 against defendants Glenn Goord and William Phillips (“Defendants”) for failure to protect him from harm from other inmates in violation of his Eighth Amendment rights. Plaintiff asserts that Defendants’ failure to install metal detectors at the entrance to a recreation yard in Green Haven Correctional Facility (“Green Haven”) constituted deliberate indifference to the risk to inmates in this yard of violence from other inmates.…
