In Re Nomination Petition of Rizzo

These appeals arise from objections to the nomination petitions of Frank Rizzo and Marian Tasco to run for Philadelphia City Council, and of Margaret Tartaglione to run for City Commissioner. Although separate objections were filed, the common pleas court consolidated them and addressed them in a single hearing and opinion, as they all involved substantially the same issue. The court also issued a single order, dated March 23, 2011, denying all three objections.
