Appeal from St. Louis City Circuit Court. — Hon. Daniel Dillon, Judge. In 1816, Chambers, Christy & Wright were the owners of a tract of land lying outside and north of the then existing limits of the city of St. Louis. I. The contention in this case in part turns on the meaning of the word “common,” to the purposes of which the litigated property was by the original proprietors dedicated ‘ 'forever. ”
