(after stating the facts as above). [1] 1. Upon this trial the appellant proved by himself that a certain book or ledger which he held in his hand was kept by him in the course of his dealings with Pallie Watson, and that the entries of the various items of cash and property charged therein against Pallie Watson were made by him at the time of such transactions, as shown by said book, and that said book was correctly kept.
