Mary A.. Styron and J. C. Styron, as owner of the S/2 SE/4 and NW/4 SE/4 and S/2 NE/4 SE/4 and NW/4 NE/4 SE/4 and SE/4 NE/4 and E/2 SW/4 NE/4 and SW/4 SW/4 NE/4, Section 27, Township 1 North, Range 9 East, containing 220 acres, brought suit in the District Court of Coal County for the cancellation of an oil and gas lease. The lease was made May 6, 1948, and by subsequent assignment the Coal Oil & Gas Company, a corporation, became the lessee. It was for a primary term of three years and as long thereafter as oil and gas could be produced in paying quantities, and contained an implied covenant…
