This case arises out of a car accident that occurred on January 9, 2015. Thomas Saunders was crossing the street in a crosswalk at the corner of Saginaw Road and Main Street in Midland, Michigan, when he was struck by a vehicle owned and operated by Daniel James Girard. Thomas Saunders suffered catastrophic injuries leaving him incapacitated.
