The Upper St. Clair School District (District) appeals from an order of the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County (trial court) denying the District’s petition to vacate an arbitrator’s award. We affirm.

On October 8, 1992, the District directed Roy Dalzell, an employee bus driver, to transport seventh and eighth grade students to a theater in Pittsburgh. A supervisory teacher’s aide accompanied the students as a chaperon. On the return trip, Dalzell began to change lanes just as a motorist attempted to pass the school bus.
