The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, AFL-CIO, District Council No. 89 (Union) and Dennis Guy-ton appeal from an order of the York County Court of Common Pleas (trial court) which vacated an arbitrator’s award and granted *1219the petition of Township of Penn, York County (Township) to reinstate Guyton’s termination. We affirm.
The Township operates a Waste Water Treatment Plant (Plant). (R.R. at 37a.) The Union, on behalf of certain Plant employees, and the Township were parties to a collective bargaining agreement (agreement), effective January 1,1995…
