This was an appeal from judgment of General Term of the Supreme Court in the fourth judicial department affirming the proceedings of defendants, the assessors of the town of Yates, Orleans county, the county clerk of said county and the commissioners of said town, in the matter of bonding of said town in aid of the Ontario Lake Shore railroad, which proceedings were brought up. for review upon common-law certiorari.
