This action was brought by appellee to recover for alleged malpractice. Appellant is a physician, and' was called to treat appellee, who, it is said, was suffering from sciatic rheumatism. Appellant advised a surgical operation, to which, after one or two weeks of consideration, the disease getting no better and appellee suffering much pain, she consented. She was removed to the West Side hospital. The operation was there performed by an attending surgeon assisted by appellant.
