SULLIVAN, Chief Judge:

During June of 1989, appellant was tried by a general court-martial composed of officer members at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. Contrary to her pleas, she was found guilty of absence without leave, larceny, wrongful use of drugs, and receiving stolen property, in violation of Articles 86, 121, 112a, and 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC §§ 886, 921, 912a, and 934, respectively. She was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement and forfeiture of $400 pay per month for 12 months, and reduction to airman basic. The convening…
