MARING, Justice.
[¶ 1] Anthony Towne appealed from a judgment dismissing his claims against Marilyn Dinius. We affirm in part, reverse in part, and remand for further proceedings.
[¶ 2] In June 1995 Towne purchased a vehicle from Marilyn Dinius for $500. Although Marilyn Dinius was the registered owner of the vehicle, her husband, George, negotiated the sale of the car on her behalf.
