Dean James Pantazes, appellant, was convicted in the Circuit Court for Charles County, Maryland, of the crimes of first degree premeditated murder, first degree felony murder, second degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, two counts of solicitation to commit murder, and use of a handgun in the commission of murder. He was indicted in Prince George’s County, and the State filed a notice of intent to seek the death penalty.
