Zide v. Jewel Tea Co.

Tbis action was brought to recover damages for personal injuries sustained by tbe plaintiff when she fell in tbe parking lot of defendant, Jewel Tea Company, in Waukegan, Illinois.

Tbe case was tried before a jury. At tbe close of tbe plaintiff’s evidence, defendant moved for a directed verdict which motion was overruled. A verdict was returned finding tbe defendant, Jewel Tea Company, guilty and assessing plaintiff’s damages in the sum of $25,000. Judgment was entered on tbe verdict.
