The plaintiff, Minnie Weinstein, brought an action in the circuit court of Cook county against the defendant, the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, to recover the proceeds of three policies for $1500, $8500 and $5000, respectively, issued in 1937 to her husband, Abraham Weinstein, in which she was named beneficiary. At the close of all the evidence, defendant’s motion for a directed verdict was denied. A jury returned a verdict of $1500 in plaintiff’s favor.
