This is a proceeding brought nominally pursuant to section 232 of the Family Court Act for an order providing for the education of a handicapped child in a residential school at public expense. While the petition purports to be based on section 232 of the Family Court Act, numerous other provisions of statutory law appear to be involved including section 234 of the Family Court Act and sections 4403 and 4407 of the Education Law. In passing, it may be noted that the present statutory law is a mumho jumbo, unconsolidated and inartistically promulgated. Revision would be extremely appropriate…
