This is an action upon the official bond of Henry F. Harrington, late sheriff of the city of St. Louis, to recover damages for the refusal of the defendant Harrington, when so acting as sheriff, to execute a writ of possession, taken out upon a judgment in an action of ejectment, recovered by John H. Bobb on the sixteenth of December, 1884, against August F. Zelle, Sarah Watson and Michael Kinealy, which judgment became the property of the plaintiff by certain mesne assignments before the writ of possession was issued.
