*694 ¶ 1 The issue in the case before us involves the resolution of the distribution of ad valorem taxes from the 2006-2010 tax years that should have be apportioned to the Stroud Public Schools (Stroud), but were improperly distributed to the Cushing and Wellston Public Schools (Cushing and Wellston). Those taxes were levied on property located within the Stroud district, but erroneously reported within the Cushing and Wellston districts. The Oklahoma Tax Commission discovered the error and notified the parties. Stroud seeks a judgment requiring Cushing and Wellston to pay those improperly…
