The defendants, Thomas Killackey and the Maidenstone Trust, appeal from the judgment of strict foreclosure of a mechanic’s hen rendered in favor of the plaintiff, RKG Management, LLC,1 specifically *368with respect to the court’s conclusion that the plaintiff was entitled to a mechanic’s lien in the amount of $40,130 for labor and materials supplied to property owned by the defendants.2 On appeal, the defendants claim that the judgment must be reversed because the court incorrectly deprived them of the right to cross-examine the plaintiffs key witness at trial and thereafter…
