INTRODUCTION

This appeal originates from an adver sary proceeding filed by. chapter 11 1 debt- or GACN, Inc. against its insurer. The adversary proceeding seeks declaratory relief determining the parties’ rights and liabilities under state law arising from an insurance contract the insurer and GACN entered into prepetition. The insurer appeals from the bankruptcy court’s order denying the insurer’s motion for mandatory or permissive abstention.
