1DissentKennedy, J.

{¶ 15} Today, the majority holds that the collateral-consequences exception to the mootness doctrine does not apply to appellate review of a finding of domestic violence contained within a civil protection order ("CPO") issued pursuant to R.C. 3113.31, after a full hearing, when the order expires during the pendency of the appeal.
