Action of assumpsit upon two policies of insurance to recover for loss of plaintiff’s dwelling house and contents destroyed by fire at Honolulu, Island of Oahu, on the 7th day of November, 1898. Both policies were issued by the defendant jointly with the English-American underwriters. .The one insured plaintiff’s residence in the sum of $2250., and his carriage house for $250., against loss by fire for the term of three years from the 15th day of April, 1898, and the other insured the contents of the residence in the sum of $3000. for the same period from…
