THE COURT.

This is a proceeding to review a recommendation of the Disciplinary Board of the State Bar of California that petitioner be disbarred.

Facts: Petitioner was admitted to practice law in California on June 10, 1959, and was employed in the office of the District Attorney of Los Angeles County from 1959 to 1960. Beginning in about 1961, he became closely acquainted with Pierce F. Carney and his wife, Violet Carney, and started to act as their attorney.
