In general the purpose of this action by Mr. E. C. Wolcott is to recover the reasonable value of his services, not to exceed $20,000, for assisting Mr. Byron Moser, between the dates of July 1, 1949 and February 1, 1950, in selling the controlling-shares of stock in the Jefferson Bank and Trust Company. Upon the trial of the cause a jury returned a verdict in favor of the defendant and the plaintiff has appealed, urging that the trial court prejudicially erred in the admission of evidence and in instructing the jury.
