The Laclede National Bank.of St. Louis presented to the probate court of the city of St. Louis, for allowance against the estate of J. H. Simpson, deceased, its claim based upon two promissory notes made by the deceased in its favor, dated respectively February 6th, and February 15th, 1893, payable to the order of the bank, and due ninety days after date, each for the sum of $20,000.
