Appellant Coreas was acquitted by a jury of second degree murder while armed, 1 but convicted of the lesser included offense of manslaughter while armed 2 and of carrying a pistol without a license. 3 On his first appeal, a divided panel of this court reversed his convictions, holding that prose-cutorial misconduct had denied him a fair trial.
