Plaintiff appeals a summary judgment entered in favor of defendant in this action for failure to reinstate employment following a compensable work injury. We reverse and remand.

The facts are not in dispute. In 1993, plaintiff was employed by defendant as a lineman. On March 29 of that year, plaintiff injured his knee on the job. He did not work for approximately nine months while recovering from knee surgery.
