—In an action to recover dam*573ages for conversion, the plaintiff appeals, as limited by his brief, from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Hutcherson, J.), dated March 17, 2000, as denied that branch of his motion which was for leave to serve an amended notice of claim.
Ordered that the order is reversed insofar as appealed from, on the law and as a matter of discretion, with costs, and that branch of the motion which was for leave to serve an amended notice of claim is granted.
