CUDAHY, Circuit Judge.

John Sinclair appeals his conviction and sentence for three counts of violating 18 U.S.C. § 215(a)(2), which prohibits the officers of financial institutions from soliciting or accepting anything of value in connection with the business of their institutions. A jury found Sinclair guilty on all three counts, and the district court sentenced him to serve twenty-one months in prison and to make restitution.
