The Puget Sound Bridge & Dredging Co., a corporation organized under the laws of Ne vada and having its principal office in Seattle, Washington, entered into a contract with the United States government to deepen and widen the channel of the Columbia river at Devil’s Bend rapids between 84 and 85 miles above Celilo falls. Ross E. Sedoris was a fireman on the drill barge engaged in such work, which was owned and operated by the above named company. Sedoris, on May 17, 1988, filed his claim for benefits under the Unemployment Compensation Law of Oregon (§§126-701-126-729 O. C. L. A.). The…
