—Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Cohen, J.), rendered August 17, 1993, convicting him of bail jumping in the first degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

There is no merit to the defendant’s contention that he was denied his right to present a defense as a result of the court’s refusal to grant him a further adjournment to secure the testimony of a retired detective.
