WEISBERGER, Acting Chief Justice.

This case comes before us on an appeal by the defendant, Joseph Mollicone, Jr., from a judgment of conviction entered in the Superi- or Court on twenty-six counts of an indictment originally containing forty-seven counts. The charges upon which defendant was convicted are as follows: counts 2 through 6 — embezzlement; counts 7, 8, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, and 22 — false-entry charges, group 1; counts 25, 26, 27, 28, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 37, and 38 — false-entry charges, group 2; counts 23 and 46 — conspiracy charges.
