In this contract case, plaintiff Metric Construction Co., Inc. (“Metric”) seeks equitable adjustments and damages respecting two related construction contracts awarded to Metric by the U.S. Department of the Navy (“government” or “Navy”) for work on San Nicolas Island, California, one of the Channel Islands located approximately 70 miles off the coast of California.
