This was a writ of error to the judgment of the circuit court of the United States for the northern district of Ohio, eastern division, in favor of Rambo, the plaintiff below, against the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Company. The plaintiff alleged in his petition that the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Company was a corporation under the laws of the state of Maryland, owning and operating a line of railroad running through the county of Richland, and state of Ohio; that it was a common carrier of passengers for hire between Shelby, Ohio, in Richland county, and the city of…
