This is an interlocutory appeal from the district court’s disqualification of Scott J. Mann as attorney for plaintiff.

Factual and Procedural Background

Bariy L. Venters was a passenger in a single-car accident in January 2001. Venters was admitted to a Hutchinson emergency room, where he was evaluated by defendant Scott Sellers, D.O. In this lawsuit, Venters alleged that Sellers was negligent, resulting in Venters’ paralysis.
