'Evidence Sustains Finding op 25 Percent Permanent Partial Disability op Lept Arm

1. I am of the opinion that the record amply sustains the commission’s finding that employe suffered a 25 percent permanent partial disability of his left arm as a result of the accident.

At the outset it may be noted that the compensation act (§ 176.11, subd. 8 [18]) provides that “for the loss of a hand, including the wrist movement,” compensation is limited to a maximum of 66 2/3 percent of the daily wage at the time of the injury for a period of 175 weeks, while compensation for loss of an arm is limited to a…
