FRIEDMAN, District Judge.
This is a legal malpractice action that was tried before the Court without a jury over four days. Plaintiff Linda Smith claims that she employed the defendant Mabel Haden, a lawyer, to file a civil action against Javis Odom in Anchorage, Alaska, and that Ms. Haden breached her duty by neither filing suit nor timely referring plaintiff to another attorney to file suit in Alaska prior to the running of the applicable statute of limitations.
