This is an application for a writ of certiorari annulling an award of the Industrial Accident Commission. The z applicant is a municipal corporation, and had in its employ as a hospital steward in one of its hospitals a man named Ernest F. Slattery. While so employed, Slattery was taken with influenza on October 15, 1918, and died of that disease eight days later. His widow presented to the com mission a claim for compensation for his death, and the commission made an award in her favor. The present application is to annul this award.
