STEVENS, J.:
This is an appeal from a judgment of sentence entered in the Court of Common Pleas of Lycoming County following Appellant’s conviction of hindering apprehension.
Appellant was arrested as the result of her interference with a January 17, 1997 attempt by the Williamsport Police to apprehend her husband, and was brought to trial on September 11, 1997. During voir dire, counsel for the Commonwealth exercised a peremptory challenge to the only black member of the jury panel.
