I. Introduction
This action concerns a helicopter crash that occurred on July 19, 2006, in Antalya, Turkey. The helicopter was manufactured by MD Helicopters, Inc., an Arizona corporation not a defendant, with component parts that were manufactured by the two principal defendants in the action, Rolls-Royce Corporation (“RRC”) and Goodrich Pump & Engine Control Systems, Inc.
