The plaintiff, Jenne Maag, brought the underlying action, sounding in negligence, against the defen*203dants, Homechek Real Estate Services, Inc. (Homechek), and Ernest Belmont. The plaintiff and Homechek, appealing separately, challenge the judgment of the trial court, rendered after a jury verdict, against Homechek and in favor of Belmont.
