This complaint was brought July 28th, 1883, to recover for a personal injury to the plaintiff on the 8th of October, 1880, caused by a collision of trains on the defendant’s railroad, occasioned by the negligence of the defendant. The plaintiff died on the second of September, 1885. No administrator was appointed fill May 14fch, 1887, when it was granted to the widow,.Louisa M. Johnson. At the Superior Court held on the 31st of May, 1887, the administratrix appeared and had the fact of the plaintiff’s death suggested on the record, and asked leave of court to enter and prosecute the action.…
