On July 7, 1930, complainant trustee filed its bill in chancery to foreclose a mortgage executed by Leslie H. Bamburg, one of the defendants, on May 15, 1926, whereby he conveyed to the trustee certain real estate situated in the City of Chicago, Cook county, Illinois, to secure an issue of bonds in the aggregate amount of $765,000. The cause was put at issue in the usual way and the evidence taken.
