In a foreclosure proceeding then pending in the superior court, Modern Woodmen of America, hereinafter referred to as petitioner, became the purchaser at a master’s sale of the Granville Apartment Hotel in Chicago. After the master’s certificate had issued, petitioner invoked the court’s jurisdiction to determine whether certain gas ranges, mechanical refrigerators and inador beds contained in the hotel were part of the realty purchased by petitioner.
