Respondent, Douglas Ford Bey II, was convicted by a jury on seventeen various counts, resulting in a cumulative sentence of 390 years in prison. In a reported opinion, the Court of Special Appeals affirmed Bey’s convictions, but vacated his sentences and remanded for a new sentencing proceeding. Bey v. State, 228 Md.App. 521, 139 A.3d 1113 (2016).
