This is an appeal from a judgment entered in favor of defendant and respondent, Dame Construction Company (Dame), after the court granted its motion for summary judgment. The sole issue in this appeal is whether a plaintiff who was the real party in interest at the time the action is commenced loses her standing as the real party in interest entitled to recover for injury to real property because of the subsequent sale of the property.
